Day 1, Day 2 - Morning and noon

What did we do after lunch? Of course is shopping, since we had had already walked to the other side of the street, so this time we went another way. Actually for the whole day, after Jean bought her white dress the night before, she was looking for some accessories to match her dress, so on the way we’re not only looking for Roxy, Quiksilver, Oakley, but also accessories.

Our next stop was Pasar Seni. After a not very long walk (compared to walk to the beach), we reached Pasar Seni. At here, Terence got his “I love Bali” t-shirt, while I got my “Bintang” t-shirt. Not to forget, Jean is our spoke person that means she bargained the entire prices for us. Thank you, darling!! Muacks…

On the way going to Pasar Seni, we had had already surveyed a few of massage shops. So on the way back, we stopped by a massage shop which is visited by Ivise last time she went. Why we chose it? Because we are cowards, we not dare to take risk to go to other shop which MIGHT BE not nice. The package that we took is ????? and it only costDuring our massage session, Jean and I were in the same room. We talked a lot with the masseurs and laughed a lot too. Jean and I were the type “ngm gieng sei” (means don’t scare die in Cantonese), we asked the masseurs to massage harder because we could not feel the strength. The masseurs are so humour and made us laugh like crazy women. They did recommend some nice Balinese cuisine to us but we did not have enough time to eat.

After been massaged, we felt so energetic. However, we chose to go back to hotel to change our cloth and have dinner after that. Because we had already had our grand dinner the night before, so we did not have enough money to eat at restaurant. We went to the burger stall at the roadside to have our dinner which Jean wanted to have as supper the night before.

At first, we were not sure that whether the burger will be nice or not. So, we only ordered one burger combo which is Bacon, egg and cheese burger. Here we got our first burger. OMG… it was out of expectation. The beef is so juicy and tender, with the bacon, egg and cheese. (I should stop describing, even I just had my lunch but when I think of it, I start drooling.) As you know (or maybe you don’t know), we are either pork lover, cheese lover or both. We can’t think of any good reason to not to eat it. So we ordered our 2^nd and 3^rd burgers which are original cheese burger and chicken burger. And we came out with a conclusion, bacon, egg and cheese burger is the BEST. Why? The answer is very easy. It is because we like bacon!

After a very satisfying dinner (though it is a roadside burger stall), we were heading to Hard Rock Hotel where the ‘FHM the Girl Next Door 2009, the Finalist’ held. While we passing by Jalan Poppies 2, we saw some music performance in front of the restaurant. There is a part of the street was so dark. (Next time when you go Bali, remember to bring your torchlight along.) Finally, we reached the main street.

Without any long stop, we went to Hard Rock Hotel directly.

Traditional Asian drum? Nope, it is a dustbin.

When we finished our photo session, it was nearly 12 o’clock, we decided to go back because the street that we walked before was very dark. However, plan is always a plan. The first thing that dragged us apart from our plan is, I wanted to eat ice-cream, so we went to McD to buy chocolate sundae. The chocolate was still soft until my last bite. It wouldn’t get solid like the one we have in Malaysia.

After that, we stopped at the K-Mart to buy some beer and cigarette which is can’t be found in Malaysia. That time was already 12.30am, so we fasten our step. When we reached the darkest part of the street, surprisingly the street was very bright. So we kept on walking, when we came to the cuci mata part of the street, unfortunately there was not much surfer for us to cuci mata compared to the night before. Then we went back to hotel and sleep.
